    A: Valley National Bank does not offer electronic statements for Certificates of Deposit (CD) accounts. This feature will become available in the near future.     Q: How can I make a loan payment?

    A: There are a number of ways to make a loan payment. You can:

    • Make free online payments from any domestic bank checking account or debit card quickly and conveniently at valleyloanpayments.com.
    • Sign up for free online bill pay from your Valley checking account through Personal Consumer Online and Mobile Banking. For added convenience, set up auto pay while enrolling at valleynationalbank.com/vbankworks.
    • Set up an auto debit from your checking account at Valley or any other U.S.-based financial institution. To set up this service, please contact Customer Service at 800-522-4100 from 6 AM – 11 PM (EST) or visit one of our conveniently located branches.     Q: How can I view my loan statements online?

    A: Valley National Bank does not currently offer electronic statements for loan accounts, but will do so in the near future. In the meantime, your coupon book or monthly loan statement along with your bank account statement will serve as documentation for your loan payment history.     Q: How do I enroll in banking by phone?

    Q: How do I register for online banking?

    A: To enroll in VBankWorks, our online banking and bill payment service, please go to VBankWorks or download our mobile app and click the “Register Now” button to complete the registration form.

    Q: What are the deposit limits for using remote deposit on Valley’s consumer mobile banking app?

    A: If you're using remote deposit, keep in mind the following limits:

    • $5,000 per item limit;
    • $5,000 per day limit; and
    • $25,000 per rolling 30-day limit.

    Q: Are there any fees associated with my debit card while I am traveling abroad?

    A: In general, the international fees associated with international debit card transactions are as follows:

    • A 3% international service fee is assessed of all international transactions, regardless of whether there is currently a conversion associated with the transaction.
    • A $5 fee is assessed on international ATM and a $3 point-of-sale transactions fee for which your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used to authorize the transaction.

    Q: Can I purchase a savings bond at any Valley National Bank branch?

    A: ​As of January 1, 2012, savings bonds are no longer sold at financial institutions. You can purchase a U.S. Savings Bonds by visiting www.treasurydirect.gov or by calling 800-USBonds.

    Q: How do I make a payment on my credit card? Is there a way to pay it on your website?

    A:

    There are several ways to make a credit card payment. You can:

    • Make a payment at any one of our conveniently located branches
    • Pay online by visiting our Credit Card Manager portal. Once successfully enrolled, you will be able to view your statements, make a same-day payment prior to 5:00 PM EST and schedule future payments.

    Q: How do I stop payment on a check?

    A: You can request a stop payment on a physical check that was written from your check-book by calling Customer Service at 800-522-4100 from 6 AM to 11 PM (EST). For calls made from outside of the U.S. and Canada, please call 973-305-8800. You can also place the stop payment via online banking or by visiting any of our conveniently located branches.

    If the payment was made using Valley’s Online Banking Bill Payment service, please contact the VBankWorks Department directly at 800-522-4100 extension 3012 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time).     Q: How do I request a lien satisfaction, duplicate title, or make a name or state change for my automobile?

    A: Valley National Bank uses MyTitleSupport as our service partner to fulfill Lien Satisfaction, Duplicate Title, Name Change and State Change requests.   You can place a request by visiting www.mytitlesupport.com.  A fee will be charged for this service, so please have your credit or debit card information available along with your Vehicle Identification Number. You can also place your request by calling MyTitleSupport at 888-740-2168 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. An additional telephone support fee will be charged for this service.
